MADE IN BRITAIN
What does it mean to be Made in Britain?
Long has the Made in Britain stamp been synonymous with quality craftsmanship, heritage and timeless style.
The UK has a long history of manufacturing; at one point the textiles industry was booming and was at the forefront of the industry as market leaders. Unfortunately, much of our manufacturing was sold off by brands to overseas countries such as China, in favour of cheap labour, more cost-effective production and fabrics by many big UK brands.
There are many benefits to manufacturing in the UK; first of all the skill and experience of our workers in the textiles industry is second to none. We are proud to make all of our garments in Britain and we hope that in some small capacity, we can help to be part of the movement that helps to bring manufacturing back to the UK and grow the industry again.
Not only are our products made in Britain, but our performance fabrics are also knitted in Britain and have been used by GB athletes at the Olympic Games. By flying the flag for British manufacturing, we make a promise of sustainability, quality and care.
In light of the challenges that recent years have brought, we feel that now is the time to support British manufacturing and celebrate the industry more than ever, which is why we have made a commitment to proudly manufacture all of our products in Britain.
